Way2SMS is what you need if you want to keep up with Indian news as soon as it happens. It delivers breaking stories to you rapidly with notifications about all subjects.
Smart notifications
This app is designed to deliver breaking news from India to all of its users. There is a constant stream of breaking news in these notifications from SMS. The main problem is mixed in with this are quite a few ads which can be quite annoying.
Multiple languages
This platform is geared for native speakers of the eight major Indian languages. In earlier versions, English was also a supported language. However, in the most recent update, English was removed from the languages available, reducing the languages to only Indian dialects.
Clunky UI
The interface isn’t as streamlined as it should be. The design, although attractive, isn’t well organized, leaving the app with a clunky feeling. Signing up is difficult. It runs okay but tends to crash after about 20 minutes. After, you have to start from the top and scroll to re-find your place.
Mediocre news app
Way2SMS has one usage, follow Indian News in native languages of the Indian subcontinent. It isn’t the best available in comparison to other apps like The Hindu. If you are interested in this area, Way2SMS is a decent option.
