Free action shooter game
Velocity is a free rogue action shooting game for Windows where you use your speed to your advantage. As you dash through enemies, they eventually die, leading you to the next platform that awaits you. If you want to land correctly, you’ll need to release the jump button at the right time.
If you enjoy arcade shooting games like this, you can also try Dodgy Rocks, Dynacore, and Hunting Unlimited 3. The main aspect of Velocity is that it’s an endless runner that changes every time you try again. With no multiplayer mode, you’re effectively challenging yourself.
Your only weapon in Velocity is your speed. Much like the Flash in the DC Universe, you’ll zip through enemies, hurting them in the process. There’s no visible health bar for them, so you’ll continue to do so until the platform you’re on is clear. You can also use a handy rope to swing out of danger so you don’t die.

Traversing platforms
Once you’ve cleared a platform, you’ll head to the next one with a teleporting beam. Some are close enough together that you can simply jump across. However, you’ll reach a stage where you’re forced to clear all enemy robots before you can progress to the next platform. Once you see the teleporting beam appear, it’s time to go.
Endless running galore
It’s ok if you run out of health and die the first few runs. When you play again, you’ll see new platform arrangements and an increased number of robotics enemies. The goal with this endless runner is to see how far you can make it on one life, trying to beat your previous score. That’s about the height of the excitement.
Try and try again
Velocity is a fun endless running action game that tests your ability to make it further than you ever did before. There aren’t many abilities, while you trust on your ruthless speed to kill enemies before you.
Still, it will give you more than an hour of entertainment if you’re determined to beat the game. The better you get at dashing and jumping, the longer you’ll survive. Also, you’ll want to make as much use of that rope as possible to get out of sticky situations.
