Sudden Attack is basically a free-for-play, multiplayer first person shooter online game developed in the Korean company Game HI. On December 2, 2021, Nexon America president Min Kim revealed plans to discontinue Sudden Attack in North America. According to him, the decision was prompted by a recent survey which indicated a high percentage of Sudden Attack players were from the United States and Europe. The company will however, launch the Korean version of Sudden Attack later this year.
In contrast to the cessation of Sudden Attack in North America, Nexon America has not yet pulled the plug on Sudden Attack 2. In fact, the Korean version of Sudden Attack 2 has already sold over five million units. The company did, however, give an extended period of free downloads for the original sudden attack FPS title. This was done in an attempt to entice both new and old players to buy Sudden Attack II. The period of free downloads will run until Sudden Attack II reaches number three on the worldwide chart. Nexon will then charge its North American users for the game.
The release of Sudden Attack II saw a lot of hype surrounding it. The game comes with a number of exciting features including weapon customization and a player ranking system. This has led to a lot of players being hooked onto the title. The fact that you can personalize your character and earn a number of unique weapons is what really captures the attention of the players. The weapon customization allows the player to unleash special moves that are exclusive only to them. On the other hand, the ranking system allows you to see how you fair against other players and tweak certain aspects of the game according to your ability.
