Mystery Manor Game Review
ARTY Farty Games are not just for the creatively challenged. They are for anyone who wants to have fun, learn something, or take a break from their work. The main character in Arty Farty is called Scarred, and she is a beautiful young woman, who works as a secretary in a big Chicago firm. One day, while she is taking care of an older client, she gets a visit from her recently ex-boyfriend... He tells her about a "scared" old house next door. With the help of her new friend, she ends up getting haunted by an entity that attacks people that enter its space, leaving scarred and sometimes dead.
DEFINITIONS: This game is based on the true story of Arty Farty, who worked as a receptionist in a big Chicago advertising firm. She was also a very good athlete, so she decided to get a job as a paralegal in a huge law firm. However, on the first day of work, she had a tragic accident - in which her head was severed by a lionhead. After this, she becomes plagued by nightmares, compulsions, and feelings of guilt and depression. After several months of feeling depressed and hopeless, she ends up driving across town to find someone to talk to. During this time, she meets newcomer Jessica Ashford, who happens to be one of the best investigators that any of the players can have.
Co-Op Features: This game is best played with at least two players. One person hides behind a computer while another investigates every nook and cranny of the office. The two players switch roles every so often to make the game more challenging (the scarred player always has a chance to heal herself if she hides behind the computer). To make sure that there are no problems with the game, a Save Point System is in place, so you can save your progress in the investigation gets too difficult.
