Free open-world shooting game
Screenshots
San Andreas Open World is a free crime shooting game where you walk on the open streets and take on the China Town gangs. It tries to bank on the success of the Rockstar Games title, but it fails to match the high-quality content and graphics. For better games, you may want to try Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, San Andreas Grand Gangsters Auto and San Andreas Crime City.
The main elements revolve around stealing cars and shooting at gangs to make a name for yourself and clear China Town. The missions don’t take long to complete, and then there isn’t much else to do. Some of the gameplay mechanics are awkward, making it more challenging to complete objectives.
Open-world shooting
Ever since GTA: San Andreas became a hit, many developers have been mimicking the game hoping to draw in more players. San Andreas Open World is one such game with similar features, but the main focus is China Town. You can openly run around the world, but you can only steal cars. It doesn’t have as much content as the original Rockstar game, making the world feel empty.
Completing missions
China Town is full of gangsters, and you also want to make a name for your gang. With guns locked and loaded, you head into the area and become involved in gang warfare. Sadly, the missions don’t last too long and aren’t overly complicated.
Problematic gameplay
While the missions may be easy, the gameplay makes them tougher to complete than is necessary. The controls are awkward, making your character an easy target for enemies. You may also become frustrated with the shooting mechanic, and the visuals aren’t too impressive.
Conclusion heading
San Andreas Open World tries hard to emulate the original GTA: SA, but with a smaller scope. You walk around the streets as if you own them, taking out gang members to become the number one gang.
The shortlived story is complicated with awkward gameplay, so you might not stay until the end. If you can muster the patience needed, you’ll complete the missions with nothing to do afterwards. All that’s left is to keep stealing cars and ride around.
