The game revolves around the powerful warrior, Overlord, who is revived by minions to defeat the seven rulers of the seven provinces and capture their lands. The game features an excellent storyline that revolves around the seven deadly sins, with each sin represented by a province ruler.
Overlord uses a destroyed tower as a base and collects trophies to transform it into a comfortable, spacious and well-equipped room. The game features four different species of minions, each with its own abilities. Players can summon new minions from special wells by paying with the life force of the dead enemies. Additionally, players can build a smithy, buy and upgrade weapons. Overlord can behave differently, and the game features a corruption parameter that affects the course and end of the game.
