Marvel Super Heroes is a very popular, free online game only available for Windows operating system, belonging to the strategy-adventure genre. It combines the concepts of games like Zelda, action and adventure into a single package. In the game, a select group of heroes known as Marvel Super Heroes starts off as ordinary kids, and end up becoming powerful, alternate universe versions of their real-life heroes. The basic goal of the game is to defeat all the villains (known as the Marvel Super Heroes) and save the Earth from destruction. In this online game, the player can develop their own superhero by collecting and using weapons and powers acquired throughout the game. There are various quests and challenges in the game that one can undertake, each presenting a different challenge depending on the type of the challenges one is embarking on.

To date, there are several different versions of the Marvel Super Heroes games online, including Marvel Super Heroes: Season Zero, Marvel Super Heroes: Season 1, Marvel Super Heroes: Season 2, Marvel Super Heroes: Season 3, Marvel Super Heroes: Season 4, and an Ultimate Edition. In the Ultimate Edition, the players get access to all eight Marvel Super Heroes collections, which are Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America, The Hulk, Hawkeye, The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man and X-Men: Evolution. All these collections present new sets of storylines, featuring new story lines and visual appearances by the main characters. However, a season 1 and season 2 is also included in the package, featuring remake episodes of earlier seasons. The packages cost $2.99 and are available for download on Xbox Live Arcade, Wii Virtual Console and the Nintendo eShop.

Marvel Super Heroes: Transformers is the third game in the franchise, and was developed by the same group that worked on the previous games. Although it bears some relation to its forerunner, the Wii version has received more critical acclaim. It features both human and machine modes and introduces the character Megatron into the fold after an unfortunate encounter with the Autobots. As you battle your way through the various stages, you'll encounter both classic Transformers characters and a host of new faces from the cartoon.
