KooBits: An Ebook Manager and Reader with a Slick Interface
KooBits is a nicely designed ebook manager and reader with support for many popular formats, including PDF and ePub. With KooBits, you can easily manage your ebooks from a centralized spot. The ebook manager looks like a wooden shelf and lets you comfortably browse books by their cover.
All of the books in the KooBits store are literature classics and available for free. However, we couldn't find any recent titles, which was somewhat disappointing. On the upside, if you register as a KooBits user on the program's website, you'll get an extra free ebook in your Dropbox account every day.
The ebook reader includes all the features you would expect, such as a zoom tool to enlarge the text, highlighter, bookmarks, and stamps. You can also crop images, but there's no way to add notes to the text.
In all, KooBits is a promising ebook manager and reader that unfortunately still lacks some functionality to be perfect.
