Feed and Grow: Fish is all about surviving in the cruel depth of the oceans as you try to level up. You do this by eating whatever you can until you become the meanest fish in the area. There are many different sea creatures you can play as, including sharks and extinct monsters.
Simple, easy controls
Overall, the fish simulator runs as you would expect. The controls are simple; the fish will turn in the direction you shift your mouse pointer to face. You move forwards with W and back with S. Each fish has a different playstyle because different elements hunt them.
It stays true to life, and players can learn about the ocean with this game. Unfortunately, you can't save your progress, so unlocking certain levels relies on how long you can spend on playing Feed and Grow. Also, the larger you grow, the slower you get; this limits how long you can play.

Requirements and bugs
You can play the game on any Windows 7 PC and onwards. It also is available for iPhones and iPads. The game requires at least 4 GB RAM, but 8 GB is preferred.
Since it's in early access, the simulator suffers from several problems. The controls are not as smooth as they should be, and there are plenty of stability issues that cause graphics problems or crash the game entirely.
Alternatives
ARK: Survival Evolved is a challenging survival sandbox game where you must build a settlement. Your goal will be to train wild dinosaurs to protect your base from invading enemies. The game's scope goes way beyond the others while delivering stunning graphics.
Another early access competitor is The Isle. Here, you play as a dinosaur who must survive at all costs in a harsh world. It has a greater danger element than Grow: Fish can provide while having an abundance of features.
Survive the deep seas
Overall, if a gamer enjoys survival and the sea, this is the ideal game. It has good gameplay mechanics and doesn't have too many requirements on a PC. While it does have a few minor issues, those problems are negligible in the wider picture. However, the alternative games may pique someone's interest if they are looking for a more formidable challenge, which Feed and Grow: Fish lacks.
