Free action game for Windows
ACAB MOB: Most Wanted is a free action game for Windows by developer Poolish Interactive Studios. This game is challenging to define as it’s part action game and part jukebox. The “game” aspect is comparable to titles such as Grand Theft Auto V or Spiritrest, where you guide your character from a 3rd-person perspective in open environments.
That said, this ACAB MOB: Most Wanted is a weird title indeed, where you and your funkin’ crew go around town, shooting pizza at naked chicken cops. While doing this, you can enjoy some exclusive songs from various artists, all available for free with the game.
In ACAB MOB: Most Wanted, you go around a city, driving a vehicle while shooting pizza slices and evading cops. If this sounds familiar, it’s because it’s more or less what you do in GTA games, except for the pizza shooting. Also, unlike Grand Theft Auto, there’s not a lot of story in this title.
GTA-like action
The novelty here comes from the weird setting, which is a city with distorted buildings, strange colours, and unusual chicken cops running around. It’s never clear what you’re supposed to do, except for the pizza-throwing aspect and that you can run around with your car wreaking havoc.
Broken game mechanics
From a quick glance, ACAB MOB: Most Wanted might sound like a good alternative for a 3rd-person action game. Unfortunately, many gameplay issues prevent it from being a good proposal aside from listening to new music.
For example, aiming is extremely difficult, and your chicken opponents wander around aimlessly, offering no real challenge. Also, many of the buildings and other parts of the town aren’t solid, so you can simply drive right through an apartment block without consequences.
Unique is an understatement
ACAB MOB: Most Wanted is an activity more than a game, thanks to its combination of music and giving you something to do while you enjoy the rhythm on a Friday night. The premise is actually good, as it’s an intriguing twist on a genre that doesn’t innovate much in terms of art style or settings.
Unfortunately, the issues mentioned earlier mean the game is broken, and can’t be taken as a real game with polished gameplay elements. A lot of work needs to be done to get it in proper playable conditions, but the good news is all the elements are in place.
