ZRevolution is an online game designed for Android devices. Young game developers developed it in Myanmar, also known as Burma, in South East Asia. It’s a strategy game that reflects the current political instability and military coup underway in Myanmar. In ZRevolution, you need to protect the citizens against their military. 

You manage a team of heroes, each with their unique skills, to prevent the attackers from reaching the peaceful protest behind the backline. ZRevolution is free to download. Similar free PC and mobile games are Plants vs Zombies and Kingdom Rush. 

Gameplay

The graphics for ZRevolution are animated and look cute. There are on-screen controls with ab interface that is easy to use with a simple design. There are 10 chapters to play in this beta version of the game.

The game aims to prevent the attacking forces from breaching a lane to break up a protest. You have to place several characters and defence structures in each route to fend off the attacks. There are several characters in the game for you to use.

You earn points by defeating an attacker and use those points to buy more defenders and defence structures, like sandbags and publicity trolleys. You have to select the correct combination of defenders to counter the attacker's strengths. 

Game characters

The characters you can select are the Slingshot Man, Keyboard Fighter, Shield Man, and Firework Man. 

• Slingshot Man shoots at the enemy with a slingshot, a traditional Myanmar weapon.
• Keyboard Fighter types away to share accurate information for the revolutionary and create energy for the heroes on the front line.
• Shield Man stands firm to protect the backline.
• Firework Man shoots fireworks at the enemy.

You can also use an explosive BallBomb or call Air Support to defend the allies from above. There’s also the Retreat Flag when you need to call back the placed heroes to the backline for emergencies.

The attackers consist of three different kinds of attackers and front-end loaders. Each has its attack strengths. The number and mix of attackers increase with each round.
