Yunar is a mobile wallet developed by Ambidexter GmbH, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank. The application functions as a digital wallet where you can store copies of your loyalty cards and bonus programs. All you need to do is scan your cards using your smartphone. It also gives you tips and information about other loyalty programs and rewards from over 300 establishments such as DeutschlandCard, Payback, BahnBonus, Douglas, H&M, and Tchibo. You can also register for new programs within the Yunar app.
Features
Yunar is a digital platform that helps you manage your customer loyalty cards. The application supports over three-hundred loyalty schemes. You can select your customer card from the list of programs available. The list is arranged in alphabetical order so you can easily search for the establishment or card you want to add. If the program is not listed, you can type in your personal information and card number. You should also give the application access to the camera so it can scan the barcode or QR code.
It is important the photo of the codes appear clear and sharp. It is because the codes will be scanned by a card reader at the checkout counter. Older card readers may not have the technical capacity to scan the code on your smartphone. In such cases, you will need to manually enter the code at the cashier. The codes will appear even when you are not connected to a Wi-Fi connection or using mobile data. Yunar only needs an internet connection when you need to add customer cards.

Ambidexter GmbH has fully integrated the platform to the requirements of the European General Protection Regulation or GPDR. This means all your data is stored within the European Union. In addition, it follows IT security standards set by its parent company Deutsche Bank.
These regulations allow Yunar to operate in several European countries, making it a handy tool to use on holidays.
