Spectasia: 3D Perspective on Your Items
Screenshots
Spectasia is a unique application designed to simplify file searching on your Mac. With its impressive 3D view, it provides a visually stunning way to showcase your items. The application offers a range of features, including a Spotlight search, which enhances the search experience.
When you first launch Spectasia, it is in Gadget Mode, which may appear too small to properly use the app. However, by hovering your cursor to the top right, you can switch to Exploration Mode, which provides a larger screen. Here, you can find additional features at the bottom, such as the search box and the number of items on the 3D board. It is worth noting that the app lacks clear explanations for these features, and clicking on them does not provide further details. To gain a better understanding, you will need to refer to the help section.
The 3D board itself offers an interesting alternative to the Finder. All items are immediately visible, allowing for easy access. However, it is important to avoid overcrowding the board with too many items. Adding and removing items from the board can be a bit unintuitive, so consulting the guide is recommended.
While Spectasia presents an original 3D launcher concept, it does have some rough edges and can feel a little unintuitive. Hopefully, future releases will address these issues and provide a more polished user experience.
