S1 S2 Speaker: Controller Intercom for Sonos
This app allows you to control your Sonos device via the device you own. It works by WiFi and it only connects the devices at hand; you will not need any extra setup. Its main purpose is to turn your mobile into an extension of the S1 or S2, increasing its functionality and improving its ease of use.
First, launch the app on your Android and launch the connection process. Then choose between S1 or S2 as the desired device. S1 offers easy customization of the app, which allows you to adjust volume and mute directly to the speaker; you can also listen to live micro or make recordings. The app also has a function to automatically mute your device at night.
S2 is similar to the previous one, but its connection settings are more limited. This is a music app that includes the music player, which allows you to listen to your library music and add tracks to the playlist so that the songs play continuously. There are options to set volume and turn on/off mutes.
This app does not have access to the Sonos library or to your music.
Sonos is an excellent speaker manufacturer which does not usually make compatible devices. That means that it is not guaranteed that Sonos components work with this app. However, there are many people who have been playing with this and are now happy users.
