Poshan Tracker enables real-time monitoring and tracking of all Anganwadi Centres (AWC), along with Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and their beneficiaries. The tracker app offers a 360-degree view of AWC and AWW activities. Rather than connecting your devices, like TrackView does, it connects information from all AWCs around India.
The app offers access to the databases that give information on beneficiary management for pregnant women, lactating mothers, and children, which includes adolescent boys and adolescent girls. You can enter information as you would into a journal or daily planner.
How do you use Poshan tracker?
Download the Poshan app, install it, and enter your registered mobile number as an Anganwadi worker. Once you have done that, the app will ask you to provide the required OTP. After doing so, you may now use the Poshan tracker app.
The data on offer is private but is not classified. If you have another person's details, you can use the tracker app in their name for some real-time tracking.
How do I update Poshan tracker app?
You can update the Poshan tracker app at the store where you first downloaded the app. At times, it can be very difficult to update the app directly through the app itself. Therefore, in many cases, it is easier to uninstall the app and reinstall the newer version.
If you are unable to log in, then this is probably a bug. However, in many cases, you can fix this problem by uninstalling the app, re-downloading it, and installing it again.
Functional but poorly optimized
The app is easy to use and laudable in its effort to remain intuitive, but it seems unpolished in certain areas. Its data entry functions are clunky and prone to crashes, and ID doesn't allow for Hindi inputs.
The app also has frequently occurring bugs within this information logging tool, especially when it comes to information updating and registration. Many of the issues seem to revolve around connection issues, such as bugs while logging in and when updating the online databases.
