A team-based multiplayer shooter game

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege by Ubisoft is an FPS multiplayer game that has you and your team developing tactics to survive and thwart threatening terrorists. It’s a logical addition to the developer’s Counter-Terrorism series but for groups this time.
Tactics and tension
This game is, as its predecessors, set on destructible, tight maps. It follows the same formula as the Counter-Terrorism games but with five-on-five action.
This approach means that tactics are invaluable to the teams. Each member will equip a different character class. Then, they review the area to plan their attack or defences before the round begins.
Tense atmosphere
The match duration adds to the tension of the game, which takes only about three minutes per round. Since the gameplay is quite asymmetrical, keeping the teams guessing on the strategies of their opponents, the small maps represent an advantage more than a drawback.
The environments feature a lot of verticalities, with multiple entry points in the form of destructible walls and windows. Although the number of maps is scarce at the moment, those that exist are well-designed and with beautiful graphics.
Ubisoft added another mode to accompany the multiplayer experience. The Terrorist Hunt mode has your team disarming bombs while getting swarmed in waves.
To further spice up the gameplay and allow you a range of challenge ratings, Rainbow Six Siege includes several modes. A realistic option, for example, will kill you in a single shot, and operation Steel Wave, the newest addition.
Since it revolves around teams of real people playing together, you'll need an Internet connection to play this game.
Flexibility and engagement
Rainbow Six Siege offers hours on end of fast-paced fun and excitement for teams. If you liked the base game and have the money and company to play it, it’s worth the purchase. It’s a shame that it’s multiplayer only. People with smaller teams or looking to play solo will have to stick to Apex Legends.
