FiLMiC is a free camera application that features many powerful tools to create a unique experience. The app is fast and easy to use, making it an ideal choice if you dislike editing pictures after you've taken them. Some features require an in-app purchase before you can start using them, however.
With FiLMiC, you’ll use fast, precise, and intuitive controls to change your focus and exposure on this camera application by tapping your screen. It lets you switch to manually editing these options by swiping across your device, with Up and Down changing exposure while Left and rRght adjusts the focus. Additionally, you can review an image using the RGB Histogram.

FiLMiC has a variety of grains and image types to select before taking the picture. This choice includes vintage film imitation, film grain, vignette, and selecting the lens on your device that you'll use. Using these features before editing the picture provides a more natural product that looks better than post-editing.

Along with all the previously-mentioned effects and adjustments available, FiLMiC offers a variety of professional tools. There’s an option for setting the camera to burst mode to take pictures during an event quickly or use the timer to set the phone up before getting into the frame. Additionally, you can choose your aspect ratios and adjust the flash.
Premium content
There’s various content only available with FiLMiC Firstlight Premium from in-app purchases. One feature you'll gain by spending money is additional film simulation options that are more realistic. You can also adjust the vignette to low and heavy—selections that you can't get with the free content.
The paid options also include a custom function button and embedded copyright. The free burst mode is now configurable, giving you a choice over the shutter speed. However, these features are not required to take amazing pictures with FiLMiC.

FiLMiC is the free version of FiLMiC Pro that has a one-time purchase price and many additional features. Alternatively, you can look at ProShot that offers many camera functions for a lower price than FiLMiC Pro. The application takes high-quality pictures and provides many tools or options to enhance your lens's final product.
