ElecHead is a free downloadable game for Windows from developer NamaTakahashi. You play as a small, electrically charged robot as you work your way through a factory by solving puzzles. To keep going, you'll have to activate all kinds of gadgets and gizmos.
In the early stages of the game, you can activate electric current by touching walls and the floor. As you progress, you pick up a new talent: throwing your head to activate devices. The only drawback is that if you stay detached from your head too long, you'll explode. If you like challenging platform-type games, take a look at Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Samorost 1.
How much does ElecHead cost?
ElecHead is available to download for free.
However, if you'd like to support the developer’s ongoing work and other projects, you have the option of paying one of the suggested sums or choose your own amount to contribute.
Is ElecHead safe?
Yes, as long as you download it from a reputable source, it's perfectly safe.
This is incredibly important because if you're not downloading the game from a curated source such as Microsoft Store, it may have been bundled with unwanted programs and maybe even security threats. Wherever you're downloading the game, pay careful attention if your antivirus program or other security app flags a potential threat.
How do I install ElecHead?
Once you've started the download, unzip the folders to your preferred location and double click the game’s file to open it.
How do I remove ElecHead?
If you've downloaded it directly from the web, you can't remove it by simply right-clicking and selecting uninstall as you can with apps from the Microsoft Store. Instead, you’ll need to go to the location where you saved the game and delete the game's folder. To permanently remove it, empty the recycle bin on your windows device.
Thinking game
ElecHead may look like a basic platformer, but it's guaranteed to make you think. The further you go into the game, the more complex the puzzles will become to progress.
This creative little puzzle platformer is definitely worth downloading, even if you choose to pay for it.
