Eat The Rich is a lighthearted and absurdly humorous game that take place throughout the illustrious Black Friday period, you play a small group of named individuals who are able to be played either as a character or controlled at the same time but some of them do tend to stray off course and get lost and fall down various objects and barriers that're always quite funny to watch. In this game, your objective is simply to eat all the red apples in all the levels. The funny part with this game is that the people that you're supposed to be eating at are all going to die of old age because of a plot involving a virus. If you find yourself running out of lives, it means that the virus has killed all those characters, including yours, who are trying to eat the red apples.
What makes Eat The Rich so enjoyable to play, is that it manages to combine a number of genres together and creates something that's different to any other game on its genre. You could say that this game is like any other game on its genre but combines elements from all of them. For example, you have tower defense games mixed with puzzles and resource collecting. On top of that you also have fruit picking and house building mixed in with fighting off zombies who are after your red apples. What I think is the greatest part about this game is the fact that you play all of these things in slow motion.
Eat The Rich from Ion Storm is well worth checking out if you love silly games that make you think with your eyes. The controls aren't anything special and don't really feel unique but what the game offers is great and definitely a must-try game for any PC owner.
