Digger XP is an excellent, free Windows game, which belongs to the class of PC games with similar subgenre to Pacman. Unlike Pacman, though, this one is made on Windows and not DOS-based. In fact, it uses the exact same engine as the older versions of Pacman, which makes it one of the few games of its kind in the world today which has been created using the new Advanced Game Engine technology, or AGE. The difference is that the original game was ported to DOS, while most other ports are based on the Windows version of Pacman.Compared to other games of its kind which were designed around the same era, Digger XP boasts some pretty cool features, which also set it apart from similar games. The first thing you will notice when playing this improved version is that your options with the mouse are increased greatly over the original digger, giving you more control over your gameplay. As the game plays out, you will also see some neat little features come into play which can really improve your experience. For example, there is now an option in addition to selecting two players; you can now play with up to four players locally, making the game a lot more fun and exciting.
The enhanced version also comes with a number of extra content, which gives you even more of an experience. Some of these include a bonus level, a secret level and even some levels which unlock an alternate history to the story, which is interesting. You can find the original version of Digger XP for sale online, where it costs just a few dollars. However, if you really want to try out the enhanced version, you can download it from the Internet. However, be sure that you will be able to run the game on your system before installing it.
