ArtPazz is a new Amiga (AGA) puzzler by the developer RETREAM. It’s a free puzzle game that offers an alternative take on classic jigsaw puzzles. However, it doesn’t provide you with solutions like Word Search Solver.
Here, the player needs to piece together tiles to recreate an image. Click on the tiles to reveal the image. Additionally, you can adjust the shape and size of the tiles. You can set the game difficulty, ranging from easy to brain-wracking. There’s no time limit, so you can play as much as you want.
ArtPazz is a must-have Windows app for players who love challenging puzzles. It has simple gameplay, making it suitable for all ages. Three download versions are available for players to install. Included are a CD32 file (ISO), a single floppy (ADF), and an HD installed version (LHA).
How do you play ArtPazz?
As previously mentioned, the ArtPazz puzzle game was designed to be straightforward and easy to understand. To begin, you should select from a collection of images or paintings. It has ten default images that players can choose from.
It also offers either sound effects or music, but not both at the same time. Up to 8 players can take turns playing.
Once you’ve selected an image, the screen will be covered with tiles. You’re then required to move the tiles around to reveal the image. There are a set amount of tries on the tiles, so you need to visualize and plan ahead. In the game, rating depends on your skill and memory.
Adding images and tunes
In addition to the ten default images, players can add more paintings and tunes by placing them in the correct directory. For the game to accept an image, it must have a depth of up to 64 colours and be 320 by 256 pixels.
An excellent alternative
ArtPazz is a fun, brain-wracking puzzle game that offers an alternative to physical jigsaw puzzles. If you’re a fan of the arts and love Amiga gaming, this game is a perfect match for you. Additionally, the fact that it supports up to 8 players makes it more fun.
