Zattoo allows you to watch TV channels on your Mac for free. Most of the channels are local to where you live, but there is also a selection of free international channels available such as Bloomberg and Press TV. After registering for a Zattoo account online and installing the client, you'll have access to a wide variety of TV stations in your locality.
When you click on a channel, you will have to sit through asecond advertisement, which can be a bit annoying. However, once the streaming starts, it is uninterrupted and the image quality is very good. Zattoo provides smooth streaming and genuinely live TV, allowing you to stay up to date with your favorite shows and events.
One of the standout features of Zattoo is its TV Guide, which helps you plan your viewing schedule and see what's up and coming. You can also search for specific channels to quickly find the content you want to watch. However, beyond these features, there are not many customization options available. There are no quality settings and no way to change the language of the interface, which can be a bit frustrating.
Additionally, Zattoo does not offer the ability to record programs, which would have been a useful feature for users.
