Become A Ninja Master, Through Blade And Skill.
Shadow Blade is a game in which you play as a young ninja wishing to find the last ninja master and become one himself. You control him through as many as 50 levels of platforming, stealth, and murder, while finding secrets and improving your technique as the player along the way.
The game plays very fluidly, though the graphics aren't too impressive. They serve their purpose, which is to let you sneak around and know what you're up against. Stealth is a key element of the game because although you can, and sometimes have to, fight and kill enemies, attacking them from behind or avoiding them entirely is more ninja-like. The game even rewards this with extra secrets and bonuses.
Overall, Shadow Blade is a fun game, comparable to Mark of the Ninja or other titles with similar elements. It's a great time killer, and it also has a decent amount of depth. Its levels may be small, but there's exploration to be done, and it has at least enough content to keep any player entertained for a while.
