Merge, transform and join PDF documents
Imagine you have several PDF documents that you want to merge into one big one. Usually, there's no easy way of doing so with Adobe Reader.
PDFMergeX, developed by Malcom-mac, makes it extremely easy to merge, transform, and reorder PDF documents in just a few clicks. Using the program is simple: browse to the PDF documents you want to merge, order them in the desired sequence, and click on the 'Combine' button to join them. PDFMergeX then prompts you to choose where to save the final document, and the merging process takes only a few seconds.
While PDFMergeX excels at merging documents quickly, it doesn't offer many additional features or preferences. However, you can preview the loaded PDF pages and rearrange them as needed. It's worth noting that some users have reported stability issues and crashes when previewing, but I did not encounter any such problems during my testing. One thing to be cautious of is that PDFMergeX does not warn you if you're overwriting the original PDF with the merged file when saving to the same directory.
In summary, PDFMergeX is a simple and effective application for merging PDFs, but it doesn't offer much beyond that.
