DBT is a free productivity app for Android developed by OASYS Cybernetics Pvt Ltd. This app is geared towards government bodies which need to track fertiliser movements across the country. 

It’s a simple tool with several options, such as checking bills and creating reports and registries. Like Parallel Space and myJDW, the goal is to improve productivity, making processes faster and more streamlined.

What’s DBT about

The goal of this tool is to help the monitoring of fertiliser sales, manufacturing and imports throughout the supply chain. This means it helps to track the whole process, from the importer or manufacturer to the wholesaler and, finally, the retailers.

With DBT, the corresponding agent can acknowledge the receipts and report sales and stock positions. In the latest update, the developer highlights its use against the black market of fertiliser products. 

Easy-to-use interface

DBT fertiliser is very simple to use. Just tap on the corresponding buttons to perform different functions such as monitoring the sale of fertiliser, checking initial stock reporting, and other features.

There’s detailed information about each transaction, including the name of the buyer and their location. It covers all necessary products, including their name and typical quantities. 

Only for fertiliser-industry people

This isn’t an app for any regular user. It’s just for fertiliser manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, retailers or government bodies. The app requires a licence from the government to log in. Since it’s a requirement to be authenticated by Aadhar, this tool is only helpful in India.

A hobbyist with gardening skills or anyone else who’s not in the business of distributing these products, won’t be able to use this app. 

Handy tool for monitoring fertilisers

DBT Fertiliser is boring to look at, but it doesn’t require fancy graphics or complicated menus. It’s developed to help people in this industry to manage their fertiliser business in a convenient way from their mobile devices.

However, many of the tools it brings can be found elsewhere, at least for the non-professional. Another critical point is that this is only for Indian businesses and authorities. It can’t be used anywhere else because it requires fingerprint authentication from the corresponding authorities.
