Battle Nations claims to be a free-to-play combat strategy game, but in reality, you need to make numerous in-app purchases to progress. Despite this, if you enjoy battlefield strategy games with cute characters and animations, Battle Nations may still appeal to you. In the game, you take command of an Imperial Army and must assemble a team of troops to defend your Outpost. With over 500 missions and 100 vehicles, there is plenty of content to explore. However, many of the weapons and upgrades require in-app purchases, limiting your firepower. The turn-based combat system allows for battles against friends and random players worldwide. The graphics and sound are decent, and the strategic gameplay is addictive, but the constant need for purchases can be frustrating. Overall, Battle Nations has the potential to be a fun and addictive game, but the excessive in-app purchases hold it back.
