@nifty VPN wifi, previously known as @nifty Anshin WiFi VPN, is a free Android utility app developed by NIFTY Corporation. This app uses VPN (Virtual Private Network) technology to encrypt communication between your smartphone and the Nifty server, making it more secure. It helps to reduce the risk of eavesdropping and spoofing, even when using a less secure Wi-Fi spot. The app creates virtual communication tunnels, encrypts data, and communicates like dedicated lines along the communication path, preventing data sniffing and tampering.
One of the main features of this app is its automatic VPN connection. With a Wi-Fi connection, it will automatically switch to a VPN connection, allowing you to use public wireless LAN spots (Wi-Fi spots) with confidence. However, please note that VPN connection may not be available on some public wireless LAN spots (Wi-Fi spots). Also, the VPN server is installed in Japan, using the reliable and trustworthy Nif Cloud. When connecting to the VPN server, all Internet access goes through the VPN server in Japan.
