Despite the usefulness of macros, I felt that Clean Text lacked flexibility, especially in terms of the rules or fixes you can work with. For date for example, you only have a choice of three different formats. Clean Text is still a very handy tool if you are in a hurry and need to clean up text fast. However some users will be disappointed by its lack of flexibility.
