The Punisher Game
The Punisher: Doc Orks is the sequel to the popular Punisher video game. The game is set in between the events of the original Punisher game and the current one. In the first game, The Punisher Frank Castle had been framed by Doctor Doom and was given over to his custody. Castle had then secretly trained his army of assassin for his ongoing war against Doom. Frank soon discovers that Doom has a new virus that will destroy the world if is not stopped, so he assembles a ragtag group of fighters who will protect the world from destruction. As they fight against The Leader, a mysterious man controlling the human race, they uncover a secret mission which leads them to The Secret History.
The Punisher: Doc Orks revolves around a future where the evil doctor Doom has gained absolute control over the human population, thanks to his new formula that grants him superhuman powers. Castle is one of the last humans standing, so to protect his loved ones, he assembles a ragtag band of his own to join with him against the evil Doctor. Frank Castle is an ex-convict turned vigilante who uses a machine gun and gets into fights, so you can imagine the crazy action sequences this game will have. The story line revolves around Castle trying to save his adopted daughter from an abusive relationship, while fighting the menace of The Leader. This is only one example of a Punisher video game story, you'll find many more in future releases.
The Punisher: Doc Orks follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, The Punisher: Kill Counts, but it adds a few new twists and turns. The new storyline follows a young boy who becomes the new Punisher; a warlord who robs people to survive, and becomes the new face of evil in the Marvel Universe. The Punisher online games are fun and a little funny at times, but also have some great action sequences and some fantastic visual design. If you love the idea of taking a comic book story and making it real in the online world, then the online version of The Punisher may be for you.
