A Review of Sonic Dreams Collection
Sonic Dreams Collection is an updated version of the infamous Sonic Dreams series. It's a port of the Nintendo DS game, which was pretty well received despite its somewhat lacking visuals. In this version, you play as Sonic the Hedgehog and go through 4 dream worlds, each featuring new challenges and hidden items. It also has a strong online community which offers loads of hints, tips and strategies, so you can always earn some extra lives and unlock the higher difficulties of the mini games. This means that this version of Sonic the Hedgehog is more advanced than the Nintendo DS version.
This version features four mini games which are better suited to those who are more into adventure and speedrunning games than the more classic Sonic games. These include; Egg Race, Boulder Dash, Island Defense and Powerboat Chase. While Sonic Dreams Collection is not a very long game, it does have plenty of, considering how much content there is in each of the four games. You can spend several hours mastering these games, especially if you know what you're doing with each one.
You can also create your own stages in Sonic Dreams Collection with the help of the game's built-in stage editor. This feature allows you to make a custom stage or play with an existing one in Sonic Dreams and change its layout, appearance and game-play according to your preferences. You can even edit the background music, graphics and video, although it's recommended that you don't meddle too much with the actual content of the games as you could risk damaging them. Overall, this is another great game for the Nintendo DS family which you will surely enjoy playing as long as you don't run into any glitches.
