Shape Shifter is a new PC game from House of Cards creator Tony Cuellar that challenges players to figure out how to bend time and space to your benefit to accomplish their goals. In mythology, folklore and spooky science fiction, shapers are the powerful supernatural beings that can shape-shift themselves by using inherent natural talent, cosmic power or by gaining divine intervention. They may be used to defy or infiltrate their enemies and other organizations or they may be used as agents of change. The shapers in the House of Cards game have a number of abilities including being shape shifters, time travelers, powerful spiritual practitioners and even shape changers.

Shape shifting is also known as the Otherworld and is a concept used in popular literature such as H. P. Lovecraft's Dream Cycle and in modern novels such as Philip Pullman's Atacks Against the Moon. One of the earliest accounts of shapers comes from Egyptian mythology with the story of the pharaohs being buried alive but able to change their shape at will. Shapers are often associated with magic and other forms of unseen power in the House of Cards game. There are several different ways that players can change themselves including using cards, playing special cards or manipulating objects. It is often recommended that you use several different shapers at once in order to change your form between the different positions that you take during the game. This makes it very difficult for your opponents to track your shifts and disrupt your strategy.

The Shape Shifter game comes in two distinctive versions, both of which contain a shuffling deck. In the traditional version, players start by choosing one of twenty-four shakers from the twenty-six cards that are randomly selected. These include the traditional jokers, threes, fours, and threressees. Players then take turns matching their hand combinations to the patterns on the shakers in the playing area, which consists of seven columns and nine rows of cards. Once all of the tiles match up the last layer is revealed and players have to click on a card to transform it into either a boy or girl.
