Red Alert: A Path Beyond is a free action experience from the W3D hub team, built on the Red Alert's W3D engine. This multiplayer-only game divides participants into the Allied Forces and the Soviet Union, where players start from the base and attack enemy structures to earn money for purchasing vehicles and upgrading units. Unlike other games in the franchise, Red Alert: A Path Beyond offers a unique and enjoyable fanmade game with its first and third-person perspective. It is set in an alternate 1950s where World War II never happened, and players get to choose between the firepower of the Soviets or the technological edge of the Allies. The game combines shooter and real-time strategy elements, allowing players to choose their role in the war and complete tasks to earn money for unlocking additional technologies. However, it lacks a single-player mode and has dated graphics and gameplay controls.
