Sweet Home 3D is a free interior design application that can help you design and plan your house, office, workspace, garage, studio or almost any other building you can think of. There are some really good features to Sweet Home 3D, such as the ability to place furniture within a 2D plan and view it in a 3D preview. Key features: Draw straight, round or sloping walls with precise dimensions via mouse or keyboard. Insert doors and windows in walls by dragging them in the plan and Sweet Home 3D will compute wall holes. Add furniture to the plan from a searchable and extensible catalog. Change color, texture, size, thickness, location and orientation of furniture, walls, floors and ceilings. Design the home in 2D and simultaneously view it in 3D from an aerial point of view, or navigate into it from a virtual visitor point of view. Annotate the plan with room areas, dimension lines and texts. Create photorealistic images and videos with the ability to control sunlight effect according to the time of day and geographic location. Import home blueprint to draw walls upon it, 3D models to complete default catalog, and textures to customize surfaces. Print and export PDFs, bitmap or vector graphics images, videos and 3D files in standard file formats. Extend the features of Sweet Home 3D with plug-ins programmed in Java. Multi language support: 25 languages. Overall, Sweet Home 3D is a great application for getting started with 3D design. It is easy to use and has an intuitive user interface. The 3D walkarounds are excellent and there is lots of furniture to choose from. You can even create rounded rooms! The application also has a nice auto recovery feature in case Sweet Home 3D crashes.

TomTom Home is free desktop software giving you access to the services and content from TomTom as well as from the global community of TomTom users. It is the only tool you need to backup, update, personalize, and manage your TomTom device. You can get the latest TomTom software and updates such as QuickGPSfix, free daily map corrections with TomTom MapShare, buy maps and subscribe to services such as traffic and safety camera information, and choose from a huge library of free content. You can personalize your TomTom by installing different startup images, Points of Interest, voices, arrival sounds, scenic routes, and color schemes. Key features include: QuickGPSfix. TomTom MapShare. Traffic and safety camera information. Free content library. Overall, if you use a TomTom SatNav and subscribe to TomTom.com then TomTom Home is an essential tool to manage your device or make sure that your speed camera map is updated. Acrylic WiFi Home
Acrylic WiFi Home is a WiFi scanner that allows you to search for WiFi networks and overlapping WiFi Channels. You can scan your home for nearby WLANs and select the optimal WiFi channel with less overlapping WiFi networks. Acrylic WiFi Home supports monitor mode under Windows, and as such is able to extract information about wifi devices, which interact with your WiFi network. The app is able to identify local wireless access points and devices, and will display a table which lists the details including, SSID, MAC Address, Vendor, type, RSSI, channel, 802.11 (a/ b/ g/ n/ ac), security details (WEP/ WPA/ WPA2/ WPS), and data on when the these were seen. Key Features include: Access points: WiFi networks information and connected users. Channels: WiFi channel scanner and WiFi networks through channels in 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Passwords: WiFi passwords and default WPS Keys. Security: Network authentication and security details for WEP, WPA, WPA2 and Enterprise (802.1X) WiFi networks. Signal level: Signal quality charts for WiFi channels and detected devices. Inventory: Naming known Wi-Fi devices. Overall, Acrylic Wi-Fi Home is a reliable and user-friendly tool that provides in-depth Wireless network monitoring. Although the interface is a tad clunky, the app performs quite well and is able to provide information about all active wireless devices around you, packet activity, and who is connected to your wireless network.
DreamPlan Home Design Software
DreamPlan is a user-friendly application that gives you a really good way to create a 3D plan of your design project, in just a few steps. It has a simple, fully featured interface that houses a few different tabs that correspond to the different operations you can perform; 'Building', 'Exterior', 'Interior' and 'Landscaping'. The ‘Building’ section is where you start to create your plan. Here you can add interior and exterior walls, and doors and windows as you see fit. From the ‘Interior’ section you can add and arrange different furniture, such as chairs, tables, sofas, or beds. Not only that but you can also add appliances and electronics, lighting and plumbing elements, and other decorative items, such as fireplaces, blinds and mirrors. KEY FEATURES INCLUDE: Home and Floor Plan Design: switch between 3D, 2D, and blueprint view modes. Landscape and Garden Design: build the terrain of outdoor landscaping areas. Interior and Room Design: add furniture, fixtures, appliances and other decorations. Remodelling, Additions and Redesigning: create walls, multiple stories, decks and roofs. For the 'Exterior' section you can add 'Plants' (trees or flowers), 'Lighting' elements, 'Paths', 'Furniture' and other 'Accessories'. In a similar manner, from the 'Landscaping' section, you can raise or lower the level of the ground on a preferred radius and with a user-defined magnitude. Overall, for a free CAD application, DreamPlan does a really good job at helping you visualize how your designed project will look.
