Day Of Pixel is an action-packed game set in an open world wild west/day of the dead universe, developed by AggressiveKiwi. You play as a character whose soul has been stolen by El Diablo and are now required to help him take over the world above. The game features a pixelated wild west world with an open world environment. You can explore Mexico, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and surrounding regions of Mexico, which are all set around the 1800s. The game also features gangs that run certain territories and bandits always on the lookout for their next victim.
The game is a platformer that transforms into a sideview shoot em up when you travel to the underworld to fight hordes of undead and slimes with shotguns. The game is open-ended, and the opportunities are endless. You can run a Cantina/Restaurant, set up a farm, become a gang of your own, and set out to carve your territory from other gangs, or make alcohol and try to get it across the border for even more profits. The game also features a full day and night system that will either help or hurt crops or certain production times.
