Free video converter app
Zeus Downloader is a free video converter app developed by DigitalProShare. Unlike other apps like Video Converter for Android and Media Converter for Android, the goal of this app is much more defined: it allows you to convert your downloaded M3U8 lists to MP4 format. Additionally, it lets you download M3U8 lists.
In case you didn’t know, M3U8 files are simple text documents that describe media location. This means that an M3U8 file can have an entire playlist of videos on YouTube or other video platforms. This app converts such files to MP4 videos that remain on your device.
Not much else
You'd be disappointed if you were expecting support for different formats, video conversion between video files, or support for other formats such as AVI. There’s little to offer besides downloading M3U8 files and converting them to local MP4 files.

The usage is as simple as the premise: paste an M3U8 file location and download. It has separate tabs that let you check what’s currently being downloaded and what’s complete.
Amateur quality
Zeus Downloader is clearly a basic app, but still, many things could be improved. Besides lacking features, many users report problems where the app keeps processing files forever. Others have seen issues with the app not recognising a valid M3U8 file.
It looks like it was built in a rush, and here’s an example. The app is in Spanish only, and there’s a typo on the word in Spanish for “Downloading”, a word in Spanish that means a hilariously offensive word. Such glaring oversights shouldn’t be present in such a straightforward app.
Hit and miss
Zeus is sitting at the top of Mount Olympus as the primary deity in Greek Mythology. Any app called “Zeus something” would be expected to offer a lot of things. Instead, Zeus Downloader offers very little, and it seems that the only connection to Zeus is the lightning icon. This sums up the entire experience with this barebones app.
Just a basic feature that may or may not work is all you can expect by downloading this. If you’re desperately looking for a strict M3U8 to MP4 downloader/converter, this is a good choice, provided it works.
