Trap! Game Review
Trap! is an addictive, low-quality puzzle game for the Android. Just because it is a bit old-fashioned doesn't mean it isn't a thoroughly enjoyable way to pass a few quiet minutes. The point of Trap! is to trap all the bouncing balls on as small a portion of your screen as humanly possible. This is done by tapping on the screen, dragging the bottom edge, and pressing the screen to shift the position of the ball. There are many levels within each mode, but you can also try them all in one big race if you'd prefer.
There are two game modes to play with: Story and Endless. In the Story mode, you must guide Frasier, an escaped scientist, around each level while preventing the balls from falling into a pit. This is done by simply tapping on the screen to propel Frasier around each level. You earn points for finishing the level without letting any of the balls fall, and you lose points if any of them do. It's easy to get caught up in the speed element of this game, and it can get frustrating when trying to slow down the pace, so I suggest playing with the speed button turned on.
In the three game modes, there are two additional levels after the main one. These are part time trials, where you must complete as many panels of the level as you can before the timer expires. There is also an item shop in the center of the game mode, so you have the option of purchasing items for use in the main game or gathering up enough coins to enter a lottery. Each of these modes is quite challenging, but I recommend taking them all at once to maximize your fun.
