Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, also known as Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, is an extremely popular beta version of Tony Hawk's popular skateboarding video game series. You can download this game for free from its website, and you can also buy the game. This version is very similar (and in some cases, slightly worse) than the full version of Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, which can be purchased online. However, for those of you who want to play the free version before buying the full version, you should definitely read on!
The majority of the game is focused on the multiplayer mode, where two players can race against each other online or locally in a variety of skateboarding challenges. To do this, one player must first put together a combo of trick jumps while the other completes multiple hoops. These challenges can be performed on any board including a trampoline, bomb cart, surfboard, or just about anything else you could possibly imagine. Once the combo is set up, each player can then utilize their special tools to execute their chosen trick, and the combo counter will keep track of the amount of tricks that have been performed. Once the counter reaches 100, the board will fall and crash to the ground, and the players will have to start over again until they manage to complete the circuit without colliding with another skateboard.
If you're unfamiliar with the Tony Hawk series, the reason why I recommend this game is because of its creativity and the overall "letting go" attitude that the character is shown throughout the series. This is also why I recommend this game for those who don't actually want to be a skater, but still enjoy the theme of it. In fact, many people who play Tony Hawk's games are often people who really enjoy the idea of rollerblading, although the Tony Hawk experience is more for those of you who already love the sport. If you want to become a skater, the activation version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater will let you do so in an easy way. It's the perfect game for people who are looking for a good introduction to rollerblading, or even those who are completely passionate about it. No matter what level of skater you are, this is one game that is guaranteed to let you experience something that you will never forget.
