The players take control of one of the major characters (the main character in this single-player role playing game) and your task will be to go through the wormhole that was opened, find the mysterious artifact inside, and return to the friendly home world of Earth. You'll get into battle against waves of aliens who seem to be sent from your own galaxy to attack your space base or any other system you may be allied with, as well as friendly ground forces who are ready to join you in your battle against the Klingons.
