Playbox, developed by Tech Support, is a free shopping app and is compatible with Android 7.0 and higher. It lets you request 24/7 delivery on-demand in the Gurgaon, India area.
Distance is no issue, and they collect and deliver anything from your pharmacy or grocery store. It includes cigarettes and electronic items. It’s similar to Jumia and AJIO shopping apps.
Download and install
Before you can use an APK file to install any app on your device, you first go to settings and enable the option to install unknown apps. This is an important security feature and you need to be careful about the apps you download this way. Tap on ‘download’ in your file browser app, or your mobile browser. If you haven’t enabled ‘install unknown apps’, you will now have to accept this request to continue the installation. If you don’t return back to the installation screen after doing this, find the file in the download folder of your file manager. Tap on it, and it will install like any other app.
Playbox permissions
The app requires permission to access various functions like phone calls so that delivery personnel can contact you. Also, it requires access to your current location for a successful transaction, but GPS tracking can drain your battery.
User experience
To use the app, you need to register with a valid Indian phone number. With the first use, you enter the OTP sent to your phone. This simple app displays an interactive map of the city with your pinned location. From the menu on the left, you can choose from Home, Orders, Coupons, Profile, and Logout.
When you place an order, you select your expected delivery time and provide your delivery address. Once completed, you will get a confirmation screen displaying your order number and a link to view your bill.
Currently, you can’t order any take away food. Only people from Gurgaon can use this service.

Register with your Indian phone number and capture the OTP to start using the app. Use it to arrange delivery from the pharmacy, grocery store, and even electronic items regardless of time or distance, but only in Gurgaon.
