Efficient Data Collection with MIWB Census
MIWB Census is a mobile application designed for enumerators participating in the 7th Minor Irrigation and 2nd Water Bodies Census in India. This utility tool facilitates the collection and management of vital data concerning groundwater schemes, surface water schemes, and water bodies at the village or ward level. It supports both offline and online data entry, allowing users to function seamlessly in remote areas without internet access. Once connectivity is restored, the collected data can be synchronized with a central server, ensuring consistent data management. The application is equipped with advanced features such as geo-coordinate capturing and image documentation of water schemes and bodies. Utilizing reverse GIS technology, it ensures accurate location tracking by matching the enumerator's current position with the designated village boundaries. If the enumerator strays outside these boundaries, the app prompts for a recheck of GPS coordinates. Additionally, it facilitates smooth data collection by prepopulating previous census information based on matching codes.
