Fastmeet is an online dating website where members communicate through a free instant messaging or chat system. It also includes an instant messaging function for inbound messages. Users can create their own profiles and search for others in their area. The free membership is only R dollar (as of July 2021).

Fast Meat is not an android port of the existing WILDEC LLC mobile dating app. It is, however, an adaptation of the chat system already available on the site. The free chat function allows for uploading of your webcam and making use of it to talk to others who are on the Fastmeet platform. You can even upload your own picture and start chatting. The most significant change, however, is in the kind of communications that you can now partake in. The desktop version of WILDEC has always allowed you to send and receive texts while on the go but never video chats.

Fastmeet has a nice interface that makes it easy to navigate and includes some useful features such as the ability to delete chat history and send and receive texts instantly. With respect to android applications, the app does not seem to have the same level of popularity as some other free online dating applications on the android market. I am not sure why this is so, but maybe it's because so many people are looking for the ability to read and reply to someone's messages while they are on the go.
