Build your own virtual Australia

Dinkum is a farm-building game set in a cartoon world inspired by the Australian bush. Mingle with kangaroos and other critters as you dig for resources, grow food, and welcome visitors. Build your island from an uninhabited wilderness to a thriving interactive community.
The game fits into the same genre as Harvest Moon: Seeds Of Memories and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. It has little action, but the game allows the player to enjoy the relaxing and creative process of building a community from scratch.
Dinkum puts you in charge of a small island filled with Australian flora and fauna. The layout of the island will be randomized at the start of the game. After designing your character and choosing where on the island to place your base tent, you can then build a house and a general store to sell mined resources.
The gameplay in Dinkum involves carrying out a series of daily tasks. These include mining and logging to obtain resources and catching animals by setting traps. You can also take part in sophisticated fishing mechanics. Visitors will ask you to carry out tasks for them. If you keep them happy, they'll settle on the island and start businesses.
If you obtain the right kinds of tools and resources, then you can craft items for decoration. Gardens, fountains, and even beehives can all be constructed to ensure that your house is as inviting as possible. You can also collect items like bottled insects to put on a show.
Dinkum strikes a good balance between the more grueling tasks of going out in the wilderness to hunt or mine and the satisfaction of building a nice home. A few minor annoyances (like the breakable tools) don't damage the fun.
