Capo: Slow down and learn your favorite songs
If you've ever tried to learn to play a song on your musical instrument but found the pace too quick, then Capo could be your solution. Capo lets you slow down your favorite songs so you can hear the exact notes and learn how they are played. In addition, you can create your own tab using a spectrogram display so it's suitable for music creation too. Chords can be entered using the traditional format such as "bbmaj7", "f#maj9" etc.
As you adjust the speed of your songs with Capo, you can use keyboard shortcuts to mark verses, choruses, bridges, and other important points that you'd like to return to. There's also a looping feature to help you learn tricky parts. If you want to listen to music slowed down on the move, you can export certain segments and then transfer them to your iPod or mobile audio device.
The control over the specific parts of songs is one of the strongest aspects of Capo. This even extends to a 10-band graphic equalizer and vocal reduction tool that allows you to zoom in on tricky parts to learn.
Even though there are free alternatives to Capo, it still packs a very decent punch for musicians.
