Typora, or Typora as it is known in the online advertising community is a web-based application that is used to track and monitor the performance of AdWords campaigns. It's currently in alpha testing. Typora is an open source web-based application written in Java that monitors ad performance via a web-based backend administration interface. It can be used by any webmaster who has a functioning AdWords campaign.
Abner, the founder and CEO of typos, has released v2.0 which contains some new features such as the new real-time preview window, and a brand new feature which he calls the "Google Docs effect". Google Docs is Google's document sharing platform, which means that a webmaster can make a spread sheet using the web-based spreadsheet application and publish it to AdWords through the "Save to AdWords" feature. This allows the use of a standard file type name instead of using the AdWords "bid" or "expand" URL parameters, and the URL always results in the same document that appears in the "Bid" and "Expand" pages.
The Google Docs feature in typora allows a webmaster to create an HTML-based presentation in a similar way as an online presentation. Using the same browser and the same syntax highlighting and code highlighting tools that are available in Google Docs, a webmaster can easily create a graphical presentation, and just like with the online presentation, if a presentation includes a logo, it can be included as a part of the "cover letter". This saves the webmaster time by allowing him to focus entirely on the content of his ad rather than having to recreate the cover letter and other text that would normally accompany an ad. This preview window feature also allows for the use of "illusory ads" and other tactics designed to fool Google's search engine, in this case Google's keyword relevancy matching system.
