TribeHR is a solid HRIS that combines the best of HR information management with innovative social features: such as peer and public recognition, shared goals and values, an interactive corporate news feed, and an engaging social interface.
At the heart of TribeHR is a plethora of tools that will streamline your human resource management operation. By utilising TribeHR’s numerous tools, you can empower your employees and reduce tasks for HR officers. On the TribeHR platform, you have access to a searchable company directory, employee self-service, personalized employee profiles, dynamic organizational chart, employee history timeline, employee and resource document storage, compensation tracking, corporate calendar, employee time-off tracking, HRIS reports and multi-location and currency support tracking.
Employee ProfileThe TribeHR platform has been designed for 3 user types: Employees, Managers and Administrators. Each user type has specific privileges and access rights. Profile’s are a great timesaving feature of TribeHR, specifically for employees, as they are in charge of their own record management.
Administrators have full access and can view all data regarding all staff. With Administrator privileges, a user can undertake senior level tasks (such as being able to configure the company’s domain settings and add company holidays etc).
Managers have access to their own data as well as the data relating to employees who report directly to them.
Through TribeHR’s employee self-serve system, Employee level users can only access and update their own records. For instance, as an employee, you may need to update your address details. Simply log into TribeHR, navigate to your name at the top of the page and click My Employee File. Then click the Edit Profile link and you’re ready to update your account details, employee details, job details, even your profile picture. An employee profile includes basic data, complete history, related documents and vacation tracking information, recent kudos, active goals, employee skills, and notes.
Performance ManagementAnother useful set of features that makes TribeHR a productive environment to work from, are the employee performance tracking and management tools. This toolset is split into 3 key areas: Goals, Kudos and Skills.
The Goals tool lets both managers and employees track objectives and goals on both an individual and team level. Goals are easy to set up, edit and maintain. Simply navigate to the employee profile and click the Add a New Goal button. Then give the goal a title, description, start and due date. You can set up Private (employees can opt to keep their goals private) and Public goals, with the latter appearing in the company calendar.
Next up is Kudos. This can be configured to be tied to period-end performance reviews automatically. When they have been received, a news item will be published in the company’s overview page for other team members to view.
Finally, the Skills tool is an advanced skills matrix tool that can be utilized by managers to track employee skills across the company. For instance, if a certain employee has a specific competency in a particular field, this data can be used to locate other team members, which have those particular skills across the company. The skills matrix report data is then used for employee development. Usefully, TribeHR gives managers the option to automatically include the skills data in their review templates.
KudosEmployee recognition is a great way to motivate and keep employees engaged in your business. TribeHR’s peer and public recognition feature is a key tool to help nurture a high-performance environment. Kudos works by visibly displaying a green Kudos button on the right hand side of almost every TribeHR page. This is a neat feature that makes it easy for employees to publicly recognize their fellow work colleagues. The Kudos tool can also be used by managers to send members of their team messages. Kudos can also be configured to automatically tie into employee performance reviews. Employees can even boast about their skills by posting the data to their Facebook page.
