Quicksand for Mac is a lightweight, free app that syncs your recently opened files with any Cloud storage services you use. With Quicksand for Mac, using cloud storage becomes easy. Every time you open a file, it is automatically synced to your favorite cloud storage service, without you even having to think about it. You will always have access to the files you've been working on recently, wherever you are, whenever you need them. Quicksand for Mac is highly customizable. Which is a good thing, as the last thing you want to happen is to run out of cloud storage space! The app allows you to make adjustments in the manner in which Quicksand for Mac manages your files. For instance you can inform it not to sync more than a certain number of files, never to use more than a certain amount of your cloud storage space, or only to sync files of certain filetypes or in certain folders. Quicksand is innocuous and lives in your menubar, whenever you open a file, it's auto-synced with your favourite cloud storage service (such as Dropbox, Google Drive, etc). Any changes you make on other devices are synced back to the original file.
