Descent 2 for Mac

Descent 2 is a sci-fi shoot-em up game developed by Bharti Airtel Ltd. Although it is quite dated, it has retained a cult following among Mac users. The graphics and gameplay may be outdated, but the game is still addictive with its depth of worlds and levels and challenging gameplay. In Descent 2, you take control of a small spaceship with the task of rescuing hostages in a series of tunnels and burrows inhabited by aliens and enemy spacecraft.

You have the option to control the spaceship using a joystick, mouse, or keyboard. The controls may take some time to get used to, but once you do, you can navigate the ship using the mouse and activate the cannon and fire missiles using the mouse buttons. As you progress through the game, you encounter doors, mazes, and enemy spacecraft, while hostages wave for help. The worlds and levels have depth, allowing you to explore and fly around.

However, Descent 2 seems to have no real end. Regardless of how many hostages you rescue, the game continues indefinitely, and you never seem to die either. This can make the game tedious and boring after a while. Despite its dated graphics, Descent 2 still handles and plays well for its genre. The longevity of its popularity speaks to its above-average gameplay and level depth.
