Joomla supports the API's of several third party Android libraries including the Android Message Accessibility and Navigation Kit (amaats), the Android XML Resources, and the android.permission. It provides a lightweight client and a backend interface that use the MMS and picture messaging formats. In addition to these functions it also provides support for the MMS message sending and receiving and the MSM text message transferring. The text-to-speech capability allows the user to dictate greetings or speak a selection of phrases. The Android device will then understand and execute them as voice commands.
A Joomla user can download JOMIR TOTHYA from the Google Android Market. However, this app is not supported on Samsung smartphones and tablets as it requires the Samsung application store apps to be installed. It is not intended for use as a mobile gaming application and is primarily designed to provide accessibility features to the visually impaired.
