Blockman Go Studio has done very well with Bed Wars owing to their very successful past game known simply as Blockman Go. Bed Wars is a stunning mobile have for Android that is based on a simple aim: destroy the enemy’s bed, and don’t let them destroy yours.
Starting the game
Start by downloading the game’s APK. Upon installing and opening the game, it’ll prompt you to select a username and gender. After registration, you’ll get to choose day one of your daily login bonus. They do this on a seven-day cycle. After selecting a few particulars, it’ll immediately put you into a typical 4/4 game.
The controls of this free game are relatively simple. You use the arrow keys to move forward, backward, left and right, and your other thumb to look around. As an added note, you can also play in two modes; go in solo, or play with another as a duo.
A typical match
There are four teams which consist of a total of 16 players. Each group of four will spawn onto its own island with a bed. You’ll be able to find iron, gold, and diamonds that you can gather to slowly build up your resources.
The game consists of merchants who you'll be able to trade natural resources you've gathered in exchange for equipment. Your resources will also be used to help you build a bridge to be able to get to an enemy’s island. The objective is you destroy their island bed and until the last surviving team that remains is crowned the winner.
Customisations
You can customise your character with wacky helmets, a cool new sword, a wicked bow, a fancy axe, or a more efficient looking pickaxe. The game boasts a lot of customisation features for you to play around with. You can buy a pet to follow you around, add some fantastic sword swing effects, arrow effects, poses, and dance moves, or even some footprint effects.
Simple, fun action game
You’ll also find this concept in the original Minecraft, but we’re a big fan of how it’s done in this independent version. It’s a lot of lighthearted fun and a great game for all ages. Complicated doesn’t always mean better. In this case, simplicity is just what we need.
