WeChat is a social networking app which serves as an alternative to WhatsApp, it features HD video conferencing, voice notes, group chats, and QR code sharing.
Large group chats
This social networking service is more prevalent in Asia than in other parts of the world and shares a style to the global messaging giant, WhatApp.
The interface is familiar with the following sections: Chats, Contacts, Settings, and Social. Notifications show up on the timeline, and you can create large group chats for up to 100 people. Users can be invited to group chats chat by sending QR codes.
Random mode
All of your messages are saved to your device, but will not be saved to any external server. To communicate with other people using WeChat, they have to have the app installed on their mobile device. You create a personal account linked to your phone number. If you want to, there is a random users mode which allows you to talk to strangers by selecting a random mode and shaking your Android device
WeChat Games
One notable difference between this system and other messaging applications is WeChat Games! With this feature, challenge friends in different games and share your achievements. You can preview the graphics of the game before you purchase by clicking on stickers before purchasing.
Requires an account to chat
Download WeChat if you want to stay in touch with certain friends or family members that use this as their primary messaging system. If you do not have connections already, this application may not be useful for you.
